i got *really* drunk once at a party held by a popular vortex guy, a good guy, and I did something totally stupid and regret it to this day. I have apologized to the guy and his family. i will make amends to them personally once the time is right (ie face to face), but that hasnt stopped the rest of the vw community from burning me anytime i jump into the "pnw vw scene." this event was also several years ago.

the difference is that when people bring it up, i know that the person i wronged knows how sorry i feel about the situation and i shrug off the immature peoples remarks, many of them racist remarks. i dont reignite the flames... my .02

Smooth: Being involved in stealing things or whatever I still considered it theft. I believe the judicial system looks at it the same. I didn't have it wrong or backwards, he could have admitted he did wrong and move on with trying to sell the wheels, but he didn't. This kid stole some wheels over 4 years ago when he was 16.
Even the guy who had his wheels stolen doesn't hold a grudge about it nor thinks it reflects on his character.

Then you've got some adult, someone in his 30's, willing to start a physical fight with a kid. I don't know when it was, sometime between the kid being 16 and 20, but all of those are children to someone 30+ years old.

Then he starts a virtual fight with the kid 4 years after the fact.

That member, someone willing to start a fight over something that isn't his problem and someone willing to attack a child is a piece of shit.
Maybe your parents beat you so you grew up thinking it's ok for adults to hit teenagers but I don't. There's no excuse for that behavior.

This kid didn't come in the thread talking about how he was kicking anyone's ass other than to point out that he socked the 30-something year old in the mouth who started a fight with him in the streets over this incident and continues to do it on this forum. He just said that was the grudge the member had against him not that he was threatening anyone here.

Then the 30 something member said oh yeah you got your friends to come jump me and the kid said no he actually stopped his friends from continuing the nonsense.

So in reality gerg summed it up exactly opposite of how it occurred. Except for the fact the kid apparently said you guys don't know him so your flaming doesn't affect him--which is a pretty mature response to a bunch of twats who have nothing better to do than flame someone for some stupid choices made years ago or for their Facebook pictures.

Yeah I got in a fight with a 35 year old infront of 30 people when I was 19 he started it he's the immature asshole I gave him to many chances just to walk away before he got his after swinging at me 50times and missing you can only take so much before you break down. He called me a thief I call him a fat ass and apparently he had something to prove to all these young kids at the age of 35. but how do we know that what he says is indeed true. i can tell you i've got a massive bank account with tons of money, will you believe me? you can't justify the credibility of someone because of what they are posting online. for all i know, they both could be lying. however, i am naturally leaning more in favor of the 30+ year because of other posts that have been made on other forums and how he denied it and lied. now i don't know about you, but the way i am interpreting him, he's coming off as an ignorant immature asshole who obviously has not changed. at least that's just what i'm picking up from his posts, and i know i'm not the only one.
