Nah. I try not to run through stop signs. It is a nice open country road, I don't see why we can't tear it up a little.
Honestly, I really didn't find it that big of a deal. The people who do stupid shit will get caught (myself included, I've had my fair share of tickets and such) and hopefully learn from their mistakes. Live and learn, you know?

I'll give the beach cruise a try.

Well, thanks for the nice response. I agree. I just don't want to be seen with those people who do immature shit like that in front of people and in populated places. It is fuckin' fun to tear it up on those back-roads, but I'm not about to go 90+ mph on them. And it also kinda sucks to have someone tailing you... ;)

I want to set up a Road Rally sometime where e30 people will sign up for one of the Cascade Sports Car club road rally's and participate in it. April, May, or June

Sounds like fun.
So how about a official route/date guys? I was thinking Portland to Tillamook on Hwy 6, then down 101 to Lincoln City and back to Portland on Hwy 18 (obviously with stops in between for lunch and such.)

Yeah, I like that route that Slidewayzz posted too.
Maybe we can meed in Wilsonville, like at Fryes, then go on Slidewayzz route on Nestucca River Road/NW Meadow lake road then drive back to Portland via Hwy 6.
Maybe something like this: http://g.co/maps/4x97j Kind of a long drive thoughLast edited by JBird; 03-09-2012, 02:49 PM.

The drive was fun, but it just felt like everyone wanted to race and show off like how fast they could go... I think you were also one of the ones who sped right through the stop sign at the top of Germantown Road, right? I fuckin' hate that, just because we are in a big car club group doesn't mean that everyone can act like immature ricer fuckheads.
I agree. As of today, my e30 is my official daily driver since the other car is going for a motor rebuild. I came from a AWD DD so I'm not used to the torque-y rwd at all. I'm not about to try to "tear" up the roads because of this, so I think us slower drivers should probably stay in the back and if the others choose to drive the way they do, they can lead.
