There is never any organized parking in Leavenworth. You are on your own to find parking. As you can tell, the town is rather small and doesn't have a parking area that can handle 1000+ cars.Chris

Sorry you thought it would be different and that parking would be organized in Leavenworth, but to say the organization sucked is pretty far from the truth. The organizers and volunteers put a lot of time and effort into making sure entering, parking and exiting Bellevue College isn't a clusterf*ck and is very well organized.
With that said, i can't wait. This will be my 8th year attending and it gets better and better every year, with exception for when it was small enough that we could have a police escort to the highway and got tshirt. That was awesome.sigpicComment

I've always wanted to go on this drive. The plan is to clay/polish/wax as prep for the the picnic on this Saturday. Does anyone have a random orbiter they'd be willing to part with for a day? Porter Cable? I don't feel like shoveling the $120+ for a brand new one.. and it may include the micro-brew of your choice![IMG]http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/

As Cramer has already said, there isn't supposed to be any organization in Leavenworth.. It's a cruise, not a show, so therefore the organization and planning goes into the pre-meet and parking/exiting Bellevue College. You are on your own once you get to Leavenworth. The town is too small, and with the accordion festival that weekend as well, it is impossible to have everyone park together. You just have to park wherever you can find a spot and enjoy your time in town, or continue on to a further destination, or turn around and head home.
Bolded for the people who are new to this event.
I typically spend at least an hour driving around town looking for parking, but that's because I'm a stubborn prima donna. People always find a spot somewhere and no matter where you end up, there are other cool cars around!Comment
