    Could I run a 225-50-r17 on my e30?

If I ran a 225-50-17 on me e30 would I rub like crazy or would I be fine?

Not even close. If you want a 225 you would need to have a 40 sidewall.

Yeah you can run that size, you will just have to do something like this.

Maybe a stock height car? Or in 14" size like me. :D

Sorry Austin, the more opinions the better. I decided to go with some 16" wheels instead and I just went to the tire pile at work and i found my tires, and I'm having them put on tomorrow morning.

I once ran 215/45/17 on my m3 and that was too big. Gotta go 40 series.

You should also consider the fact that your speedometer/odo will be quite a bit further off with such a high O.D. tire. It's usually ideal to stick with a somewhat similar O.D. sized tire.

Depends on your ride height... DEN_K321 has 17x10 Borbet type A's and runs 225/40r17 and rubbed his sidewall clean, his car is pretty slammed though...
