if you paid $850 for one you got ripped off.
lol no I did not pay 850 for the transmission. Someone else paid a shop to put it in so he obviously paid a finders fee.

It is still a more expensive transmission to use then the G260 was my main point. Also if something comes from an M3, even if its available on many other BMW's people are still going to ask top dollar for it

I wouldn't pay more than 300 dollars for a ZF trans personally

$300 is about what I think too.

just like people take all kinds of "standard" BMW parts that come on lots of models, and also M3s, and they try to sell them as "M3" parts.

I got mine for $300, it came out of an E46 and only had 45k miles on it. One with that high of mileage is probably only worth $200-$300, depending on how stupid of person you can find you might be able to get more.

They are probably worth less then a good G260 nowadays .

ZF320 is worth around $400 on a great day... I just bought an E36 M3 drive shaft for $100, to put that in perspective.

                Got my M52+ZF+E39 for $380, haha. :D

I personally prefer the ZF320 to the G260 anyday of the week. But, that's me.

I'm very likely wrong on this but isn't the ZF rated for more HP in the long run? FI for life ;)
