      have a friend look at the car, confirm the vin# in a few places and share what you find.

      cops are pretty willing to help on things like this--I recently had a co worker find his stolen bicycle on craigslist and the cops helped him re-acquire it from the person who bought it from the thief.

                Good little thread. No there are two titles, being a old e30, no full coverage insurance. So yeah if you buy this Max and you are in for a court battle. Bellevue police says its a small claims matter since it was sold a auction. The car was pick up by Lincoln towing in August.

                    So it was towed, and left at the tow yard. Then they sold it at auction? You are screwed, should have gotten the car back as soon as it was towed.
