                Yeah but stuff was stolen off the car. Cv joints broke. Now its worth 800 bucks. I was thinking of showing up with my keys and drive off saying so you are going to call the police on a car that you are curbing. Lol.

                                        ^ if there is 1 key that operates doors and ignition, a locksmith can feel the cylinder and cut a key in about 30 minutes for about $80.

                                                        I don't see how you can win. If you left the car at the tow yard long enough for it to be auctioned off, then it's reasonable to think that you wanted nothing to do with the vehicle.

                                                        Don't go screwing over the person who rightfully bought the car that you abandoned.
