An m3 with an e engine???? wtf

I was browsing this auction for e30s and stumbled upon this 87 with all m3 body pannels. so its an m3 clone im guessing. But then under the hood it has an e engine. :loco: so does anyone know of this car and wth its supposed to be??

interesting ,never seen the car around any club events ,someone put a lot of work into the body conversion , vin comes up as a 6/87 325e on Realoem

honestly I don't believe you want those fenders. If they have been cut re-welded then cut again I would stay away... IMO.
