Two years ago I paid $1500 for my silver 90 325i 4 door from someone here on R3v. I had to fix quite a few things to make it right, including fixing a leaking head gasket, so i'm it about $2500 now. Just needs paint work to make really nice. I'm really impressed with these cars. Driving one on the street is a blast, almost as much fun as my PRO3 on the track !

Last I checked a water pump plus coolant is less than a hundred bucks and maybe takes a couple hours to change. That's not a big deal. You'd have to be some kind of stupid to take all day for a water pump. But that's cool you'd pay 5k for a stock e30 it makes selling that 1k e30 we bought alot easier.

Go back to your hole buddy cause if your paying 5k for a late 80's car your brain must not work correctly. A super clean example with all records I'd understand. This is my first time workin on e30's. Did timing belt, waterpump, fan clutch and thermostat in 6 hours start to finish. All for 180 bucks. I almost feel bad for people like you gettin ripped off so bad because of the e30 tax.
