Yep !!!! go buy some factory BMW wheel locks. I put them on every BMW i buy. Its worth the $40.00 and the piece of mind. And OP sorry for your loss bro. When you get new wheels,go buy locks. When they see them they will just walk by,its not worth the effort to them at that point. They are looking for a quick steal with little to no effort put into it.Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

Do factory BMW wheel locks all have individual keys, I need something that no one else has a key too.Comment

Tip - the discount tire "locking" bolts can be taken off with a standard 17mm socket. Don't waste your money on those.
Also, if you can, pick up an extra key or two for safe keeping in areas where they wont get lost. Not being able to find the wheel key can ruin your whole day.m106 1990 e30

It seems to me that the job was done by someone who had been following you for awhile, perhaps someone in the same school or a neighbor. They knew exactly where the car was parked at, and knew that the area was not well patrolled.
Can't you ask for help to those with Security Cameras? Everyone has them know. And you know the date/time when the wheels were removed. Maybe they used a pick up truck. Just saying.
Go and get some nice wheels now. And use lock nuts.1997 328i - SOLD

The police weren't much of a help. There were no security cameras in that parking lot (no idea how that's possible). UW isn't concerned about parking lot safety at all.Comment
