Try to contact Scott Epstein of Performance Plus. If the car is an '84 and a true Hartge car then there's a 99% chance he imported it and he can attest if it's the real deal.

It just has a regular VIN plate riveted to the passenger side core support, not a hartge one.

Right. Since the part is not from the car originally, that would make sense.
Neither quarter panel, nor the core support match the actual VIN.

Really, its authenticity will be either confirmed or denied with certainty rather shortly. We can all speculate and make our best guesses, but the proof's in the puddn'.
          I'll keep you guys posted.

Cool. Interested to see what happens.

Out of curiosity, is it going to come up for sale here?

It will be for sale locally, once I've compiled the necessary documentation, and have a title on deck.
Anyone in the area is more than welcome to come check it out at any point, as well. Just get a hold of me.

I keep getting an "Upload of file failed" error message.
I do have a bunch of pics though.
                          Text or email.
I'm in Milwaukie if anyone feels like taking a look at it.

Thanks again for all the help.

I've been looking about for his information, but I can't seem to track down a solid line of communication for the gentleman.
