I can't decide what to do.
My '87 bronzit 325 eta just gave up the ghost. Miss firing pretty bad, with very low compression numbers on cylinder 4. I suspect it is due to worn rings, because I was getting some blow by and oil on the plugs. No mayonaise so I don't think it's a blown head gasket. Basically I think it needs a new motor. The problem is I don't have a garage or space to do a swap into it, and I don't want to pay $$$ to have a shop swap it out for me.
So do I try and sell the dead car?
I've put a fair amout of goodies into it. Bilsteins, sport seats, keyless entry, new headunit/lukebox/premium sound, chipped ecu, 3.46 diff., remanufacture prop shaft, etc... Do I try and part it out of most of the stuff before hand? *see also no garage*
Or do I go through the hassel of renting a space from a coworker or r3v'r, sourcing a motor, and sucking it up a do a quick swap?
