photo from the top.. this doesn't do it justice, but gives you a small idea of what's in store ;)

Highway 219 from Scholls to Newberg is the best I've been on. Hardly ANY cars ever on it, and the "Curves next 14 miles" sign always puts a smile on my face :).
This is a awesome one. I take it all the time to the family shop.

I have lots of roads I don't like to mention in public much.. just like to keep them on the down-low a bit. But I got a chance to check out "old spiral highway" immediately north of Lewiston, ID a week ago. O.. M.. G... It's one of the best shorter pieces of pavement I've ever been on.

113 & 112 are awesome... some of the best roads in the region for sure. But the roads are far from perfect after last winter's mess :(

there is a stretch of highway between Vale to Juantura Oregon , that is just an amazing drive. driving through that canyon along the Malhaler, river is a great drive. I've driven it several times in the old bimmer, and once in the boxster. it's never very busy. and is alot of fun.

from 405 northbound to exit 12 (left lane overpass, right at the light and continue to 140th.
from 140th, is a nice view of bellevue too.

the 405 north from 167 was just repaved in most parts and added a lane by the i90 turnoff. best at night, or very early morning.

    the gauntlett too.
    520 to i5,
    i5 to i90
    i90 to 405-
    405 back to 520.

    Papago park in Arizona.

the Galatin freeway in Montana (through yellowstone and almost to bozeman)

the 10 in arizona past apache junction and around superstition springs

most roads simply b/c of newer clean roads and only during non-traffic hours. (esp the galatin which is one of the most deadly)

speedtraps are rare, and traffic can be an issue, but when its 3am on xmass morning, its a blast

Forest Road 70 up by Enumclaw. And the back roads past Enumclaw. Also the road that follows the Snake River. So windy.

That, and at the end you can get 'exclusive' cheese.
Ive just got to mention.. when you are upstairs at the cheese factory there is a plaque at the end of the room with Beale Dixon on it. That is my great uncle. he managed the cheese factory for 26 years waay back in the day. My legal first name is actually Dixon, taken from the family last name. We have a house in Rockaway, 15mins north of tillamook. its been in the family for 60 years. ive definitly eaten some tillamook cheese. so enough of the family history, back to cars.
