MEGA restaurants and attractions. Tourist Kingdom. I would stay away from I Drive (I stands for idiot) International Drive has too many rental cars. I don't feel safe driving there.

As far as restaurants on location, there are some but Celebration is a pocket community.

I would suggest bringing food, then after the car show cruise out for dinner. Overnight would give you guys an excuse to hit the attractions.

Sorry but as stated I will be out of town on biz and not sure if I will be back in time.

I can't organize this one guys. I won't have the time to devote to this. I have been reading there was some interest in a meet and thought this event would be a great idea.

Look at their map. Across the street (192) are a number of rendevous ponits. Meet as a group there, drive to the show, tell parking ref you are a group and request parking together.

This is in part why we don't do well at meets. It goes round and round on a forum until it fades away. A meet is unusally hard to get started in Florida because everybody talks it but few commit to it. And when one is put together you can expect, at least 50% no shows.

I have put some together that have been fun. It takes takes time and leg work.

Bottom line guys, if you want to do a meet, do it. DECIDE on a date, put gas in your car and drive it.

All we need is a poll for a weekend, then commit to it, people who can't come cant come. Brace yourselves though, it's wedding season.

I have just about the same schedule every week so any weekend is fine with me. I can bring some food and (legal) beverages!

Hey guys, I just moved to Orlando and will be down for a meet as well. Its very odd that theres nothing going on, I thought car scene will be big in orlando but guess not. I'll keep an eye on here if theres a plan for a meet in the near future.

it used to be big, honestly. I went to meets once or twice a week a few years back, but now it's spread apart. there's the stanceworks or v2 lab thing this weekend in downtown but I'd never go to that. (I went last year but only to pickup a sport valence and then split)

Sorry but it's just easier to tag people you know (so they see the post), start an event page for things, and overall keep track.
