I have a G260 that shifts super smooth. It leaks from where the bellhousing bolts to the tranny itself (so it would need to be pulled apart and resealed).

I know the G260 can be used with M50s, so if you guys want to see if you can use it, let me know,

^ I think at that point you would just need the front half of an original manual e30 shaft. (not sure how its setup now)

Thanks Jay! It is amazingly fast, even with the 2.93 rear haha! It leaves a patch at 60mph when shifting into 3rd.

Well why didn't anyone mention that the Getrag would have to be at about 15* compared to the ZF that WAS behind the engine? lol - no biggie, we fabricated some solid trans mounts to get Livingston back to NY :D

Will post some pics after we are finished. were at it till 4am this morning, then we went to our regular 9-5ers, and are still at it :(
