Right, with the e30 group. Is there anything special I would need to do to join in with that?

      Only your wallet. ;)

This applies to everyone who is pre-registered to camp with us Friday and Saturday nights:
      • On Friday we're patronizing the Sierra Nevada Brewery for lunch and the Spring Creek Tavern for dinner.
      • On Saturday we'll be offering lunch for cheap, and I believe there will be another food truck or two on site; we'll be providing dinner.

I'm registered and just booked a room to avoid a 3 HR drive Saturday morning.

I hope the forecast is dead wrong

It's the mountains, so it can be off by 30%+ in either direction. That said, it's looking better than it was 36 hours ago.

I only got a handful too - I was too busy talking and working!

It was great to finally be face to face with so many of the folks I've met through this forum, some of whom I've "known" for years - Levent and Steve just to name a couple.

                          Grand Theft Auto training: engage.

Klaus was happy on the highway.

There were numerous rain showers, though fortunately they didn't seem to deter anyone who came out.

The site on the French Broad where Shangsta and I shared a site with a few guys from VA (not pictured) at the campground across the street from the event site.

Back home, drying out (in more ways than one!).

I've always thought about going, but after following the Facebook posts this year, there is no question: I will be there in 2017.

A couple of panoramic shots - click to embiggen. Our booth was right next to the "M cars only" area, but I forgot to get a shot of it.
