Let's have the meet in the exact geographic center of the U.S. (Including alaska and hawaii).
      Butte County, SD!
Here's a picture of the attractions:

How about we have an east and west coast meet, same weekend, and see which coast can get more e30's to show?

PS West coast meet should be in WA in June at the XXX :)

Virginia, like avusblue said, is definitely the prime place as far as the southern guys getting there by train. I can only speak for myself when I say I will NOT be tracking my car and that I dont know what the other Northeast guys think. This thread will have to marinate on the forum for a while so everyone can see it. I am definitely in if it's in VA.

Avus, u gonna have an E30 by then? especially if u sell ur car...

It may be around in may but it will be gone by june. Ill sell it priced to move by then. I have a few around town that I would show up in and I know stu will come and get me if need be. Id love to host it even if I dont have an e30 by then. Lynchburg is close to the mountains for the more fun driving.

I know I don't have any clout here on the forums but I'd love to join up with my car and meet some fellow enthusiasts. RC Wells mentioned Dallas, TX - that would be good. Cincinatti would be good too.

I mentioned Dallas, not Wells. I was just being lazy since I live there. The meet would be much further east.

My car'll be up and running so I'd be up for a meet all along the EC and maybe even midwest depending on how much warning I had.

So, how is the general consensus on meeting up at the TOD? There is Chattanooga and Nashville w/in relatively close proximity to the Dragon and would be killer meeting places.

I just see that as too much a temptation for somebody to do something stupid. I know how I can drive my car but the guy behind me may not know shit. I mean Ill show up but I dont see doing the TOD as a good idea.

I don't see why not. I mean, if someone is going to be stupid, that's their problem. I would rather that none of us had an accident, but that could happen driving anywhere. The Dragon does NOT mean fast crazy driving. It's just good twisty roads and from what I've heard, most of it is relatively low speed stuff.

It's just a valid option, not definitive, but a good one.
