Someone bring the tools needed for a quick axle swap :) I don't have a breaker bar large enough or the large socket for it.

You just need a flat head screw driver, a 10mm socket and a ratchet. Very easy job. I can help install them no problem, but I think Steve can do it with his eye's closed now as he's had to pull them at the last 3 driving schools.
Halston, I just looked up stairs and I've still got the ones I yanked from the white car a year ago. They have been cleaned, and have brand new o-rings and pintle caps on them. They can be yours for $45

Goto Auto Zone or Advanced and tell them you need injector O-Rings for a 1990 Mustang 5.0. They cost like $5 a box.Leave a comment:

Halston I have a set of injectors but they were working great when removed from my 88 325is, but they have been out of the car for 3 years. I don't know if I'd be comfortable just throwing them straight into a car without cleaning them up first and replacing the o-rings.
hehe
I can buy O-Rings for them probably locally and bring them too...
Steve what do I need to swap them there sir? Since I watched you do it in 10 minutes!!! Where can I buy O-Rings for them? I think NAPA sells them for Bosch injectors...Leave a comment:

if the o-rings arent cracked or anything, then they will be fine. i just did mine last week, didnt replace, just cleaned up, i can give you a hand throwing them in. i have a 4 cylinder, and dont know how the 6 is set up, but if it is anything like mine (very likely) you will want to get the upper intake gasket, (you need to remove to get to the injectors) and the 2 throttel body gaskets (not nessacy, but i recomend) besides that, i didnt really need anything else, but you might want to make sure you check, any hoses with clamps that might need to be removed, you might want to ghet some new clamps, just general stuff like that, but besides that, its prety straight forward.Leave a comment:
