Pre-4NGIEFEST meet up in Atlanta

So... There are a few of us that do not want to do the 4ngie drive, but want to go to the meet. I was thinking about finding a meeting point, then driving to the fest together. I was thinking about even meeting somewhere the night before (Friday) for a mini meet.. . .

Maybe the Fox brothers or another BBQ joint Friday Night?

Who is down for this? We need to organize pretty quickly. I for one want the e30's to ride together in this, so if we can work out a central meeting point in the AM and roll up or out to the final destination, then let's start posting.

It doesn't have to be downtown, I would suggest Brandsmart off of 285 on peachtree ind. blvd. it is a huge lot that is right by 85 and 285.... anyone in?

The varsity is cool too, but I want to make sure the northern peeps can participate in repping the e30s. Any suggestions? There is the Best Buy by gwinnette place mall as well. For the Downtown peeps and the southern peeps I can say this... we have to drive up there any way, so if we can meet downtown first, then roll up to a northern location, THEN everyone roll up to the meet, our cars will be best represented. Post here or PM me, I will take the reigns as far as organization goes if Dillsnik is cool with it. Halston, help me organize the northern crew. i will take the central crew, and KC if you let me know who's coming from the south, I will make sure to add them in.

There is another thead on here ( maybe general discussions ) where I saw people organizing coming through Chattanooga, that are meeting up with a group from Chattanooga that are riding down early that morning.

Cool, can you link this in? I want to set up a central location in north atlanta where we can all meet. Being that I am here (in the atl) I want this thread to be the final call for everyone. Again, I have no problem organizing this through this post and cel phones.... If you are in a thread concerning this meet, I would appreciate linking it up to this thread.

I'll drive down to the Varsity or over to Gwinnett Place mall. I think if we have a lot of people coming from all over the place the Varsity is a better spot to meet up at, even though that means more driving for us that live up here.

Maddy's is the best if it isn't raining, Fox brothers will be packed. I will be at the Braves game, but can meet up with you all after that. Mo, I will pm you my number.
As far as the meet up goes, who else thinks varsity?

I think the Varisity is a good place Saturday afternoon.. We can just shoot down Ponce straight to the meet. Plus, it's VERY easy to find for out-of-towners (after all, it is an ATL icon).

As far as Friday goes.. Maddy's might be a solid options. Or, calling ahead to Fox brothers might be an idea.. I know I've seen car meets there before.

Fox is going to be too packed on a friday, unless you get there by 5pm.

I'm down i guess. Where are the out-of-towners coming from? Or where is your place to stay at night? I think it'd just be good for us ATl'rs to let them go to a place nearer their place.
