Lots of autox talk. I like it! Im going to start a socal thread for people attending driving events in the area. Im always more interested to go when theres a group. Makes it more fun.
Does anyone have a connect for "smog"? I have 2 cars needing it asap. Pm me please.

This is an awesome idea. We had a similar thread a few years back and got some good participation from members at a few events! Once my car is done I plan on on attending as many events as possible this summer.

Sounds like everyone is preppin' for good driving in the near future.
So word of advice, balance your new flywheels and pressure plates before installation.
Two new flywheels and pressure plates from SPEC not zero'd out.
I'm sure they might be fine out of the box, by why settle for less for such a part?
I moved down here at the beginning of the year, and am steadily learning the lay of the land. I have my e30 down here now and need to get some odds and ends taken care of, and was hoping to get some recommendations on some of the go-to shops? I'm in Santa Monica if it makes any difference.
Here's the current to-do list:
1. I have a set of old BBS RZ378s that need refurbishment, any suggestions on a reasonable wheel shop?
2. My trunk spoiler has seen better days and would like to get it resprayed.
3. For general mechanical work, it seems JMP and BimmerHeads are pretty popular? They list weekend hours which is nice as well.
I appreciate any suggestions. I also hope to make it to one of the end of month Friday meetups.
