    Calypso Track Car

16 years later, countless DEs, 2 regional GTS championships, I finally got paint for the track car. It has gone from daily driver, dual duty, garage object, and now a decent looking car.

      Paint does wonders. Looks awesome!
What's your splitter made out of? Hangs off the frame rails?

I enjoy this. Can you show some pics of the dash and the under of the splitter. Need some ideas. I'm putting mine together tomorrow.

Sorry for the delay, here are the interior pics (finally got around to snapping some). Its an ACTion racing dash.

No build thread, but some 5-15 year old posts on here can sort of show the progression. Right now the splitter is plywood until I can balance out the aero, then it will be made from a proper material. I ran threaded rod through the frame rail and core support to attach the splitter in 6 places, 3 per side. Use some proper splitter support rods in addition and its fairly solid.
Also got a pic with proper tires on.

What kind of wing is that? I am starting to look for one as my build is starting to get closer and closer to actually being completed.

Its the Bimmerworld wing with the tall uprights. Klaus Composites makes it as a custom wing for an e30, but the cost is the same as a standard wing.

Lots of folks in ChampCar are using NLR wings, us included.

I wish I had kept my old E30 and turned it into something like this. Amazing!
