What's your tie to the BMX Kings?

Hoffman was all over my room. Fell for John Purse since he raced the bike I loved and later purchased... a Balance Killer B. Had a buddy in the neighborhood sponsored by Cannondale, Jim Hollis. He never made it big but was talented.

I failed primary school because of these games.
It's to bad Dave Mirra is gone.

No way! That's awesome. As a life long BMX rider he has always been, and will continue to be a huge inspiration.

                        Backstory.

My brother and i were ate up with bmx and freestyle from the moment we could pedal a bike as kids in the late 70's. We grew up in northern Virginia and while i was content riding my bikes and building jump spots, my brother got into freestyle competition pretty heavy and got to know/became friends with Rick Moliterno and Matt Hoffman at the AFA competitions during 85-86.

The pics are from 87 when the Haro team came and did a few shows in our area, they stayed at our house 2 nights and did shows during 3 days. Everybody slept on the living room floor.

Did you notice the folding quarter pipe built into the back of the trailer?
