    Weak Wipers

My wipers work, but are extremely slow and the different speeds are delayed. Is this a wiper motor problem (slowing dying motor) or relay module? Is there any easy diagnosis? For point of comparison, I have access to another E30 that has perfectly working wipers. Any insight is appreciated.
    Thanks

I would start by lubing the cowl pivots. It's hard to get lube in there...

I have the same issue. For me I believe it is the motor because the wipers move a lot faster when its raining. So I'm assuming there is less resistance on the motor when it rains.

had the same problem, definitely the motor. Mine could barely make all the way across the windshield and back, then sapped out the motor and it was back to regular power.

An often overlooked part of the wiper system (besides the wiper dampers which are always old and cracked and allow your wipers to wobble and die) is the crank arm that attaches to the bottom of the motor. It's a "breakaway spline" just like where the blade arms attach. Worth checking
