@ warren g... you sound like the rapper.
Usually you start with intake and exhaust. The better it breathes, the better it runs. Then you might consider a chip upgrade. If that doesn't work, turbo charge it.Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

@e30 styles - I may be too late, but bernzspeed is correct. The M20 needs to breath better, and port matching the intake - head - exhaust will do wonder for the upper end. A cam with more lift & duration will get a bit more air in, and a chip will help you take advantage of it allsComment

Hey guys I'm new to the BMW scene I bought an 84 318i with a 2.5 in it couple months ago, motor was blown when I bought it. I recently swapped a 2.7 in it and I'm have a wiring issue the 2.5 had the distributor behind the alternator and the 2.7 is on the front of the head everything is plugged in except for the plug to the old distributor and it won't start I have no spark my question is what do I do with the old distributor plug to make it run again?Comment

I have a 88 SETA that I did a "i" conversion on. Stock 2.7 bottom end with a Bimmerhead SuperSport Head (double valve springs, HD rockers, 3 angle valve grind, Port&Polish, 280/274 cam) Long tube headers, SSSQuid Tuning chip, SSSquid tuning Maf Conversion, and new gaskets and sensors.Comment
