    Stainless Racing Manifold

A couple of months ago, I was thinking about installing a stainless racing manifold header on my son's 1986 325es. I was open for advice from the forum. Most owners told me not to do it, since the original header is better.Any changes or improvements with the horsepower?

Don't know which header you're talking about. But I had a IE long tube on my eta. Although it was more of a mid tube then long... But there was no power loss, and honestly the car did run a little better then it did with the stock exhaust.

I wouldn't bother putting headers on a 325e unless I was building the engine around performance ie. 325 i head/cam/intake, etc.

The eta is a torque engine. Best to keep the exhaust restricted the way it is. A chip is the way to go for the eta - drastic difference!

I was thinking about buying a chip on eBay. Anyone have any good or bad feedback about purchasing one on eBay thanks.
