I just spoke with Tubular and they are supposed to be getting the material in this week. So this week or next week they will start bending everything up. They said they already have the header flanges cut. I just need to sort out sourcing the tail pipe flanges for the people who want the mid-section to bolt up to the stock muffler.

There are still a few outstanding deposits and those individuals have been PM'ed again to remind them. If I don't receive the deposit by the end of the week I will be opening up those spots for any interested party with cash in hand.

      Cheers.

Anyone has the stock midpipe flange dimensions handy? See below picture for what I am looking for.

Otherwise I will have to take apart my exhaust and I rather not. Thanks,

          J

I figured it might be worthwhile to add some clarification to the flange situation for those of you who requested the mid-section ending with the flanges option. As most of you know, and if you look at this picture…

The stock cat has one flange which is held captive by a flared end, this is the flange that Tubular will be installing on the one mid-section pipe. The second mid-section pipe will just be reduced to and 1 ¾” slip fit (just like the stock cat). So in order to join the mid-section to your catback exhaust you will need to re-use items # 22-26 from your current exhaust or buy new ones.

The price increase for having the one flange added will only be ~$10.

                      Cheers.

I have a pair of brand new flanges I just removed from the front of an Ansa muffler. If these are what you want the dimensions from, the bolts holes are 8.5mm (c) on 70mm centres (a) and the pipe openings are 50mm and 46.5mm (b) as best as I can tell using a metric German architects rule.

If you need pics or more precision LMK..and if this is not what you are looking for, I tried :-)

Thanks for the input. Originally I was talking with slippery about machining some flanges for those who want them and that's what he wanted the dimensions for, however they ended up being cheap enough that we just decided to buy them instead.

This is from an email I got from Tubular yesterday...

"The headers are almost all done, and soon we will change the tooling and do the mid sections. With luck, all will be done and be ready next week. (some to the coaters, some not)"
There may be 1 or 2 spots on the list becoming available. Please PM me if you're interested.
