we have deals pop up quite often for a variety of e30's, from private sellers to craigslist finds.

but to start off, this e30 seems good enough to check out.

Good luck with your search and KIT with the socal e30 life

My eta with the top end and 1.3 swap is no joke ;)

Will re-iterate THEY AREN'T BEAT ON, rofl.

You physically can't beat on an eta.

Took mine from 95whp to 143whp with about $300 :D

Socal is pretty much the ideal place to find a cheap, non-rusted e30. There were tons around when I bought my first one back in 2005. The paint on a lot of them might be baked to shit, but no rust is a big plus.

Yeah the paint doesn't worry me as much as the rust does. I'm hoping to find a little fixer upper before the fall :p

If you haven't already you can make a live bookmark of craigslist searches. CL has RSS feed, just search..
                    ex: BMW e30

You're searching the same thing, only narrowing the results.. You can forget any e30s for under 1.5k unless you want an early model beater. And 3k is more than a fair price for a clean, unmolested e30. Just sayin

I'll definitely be bringing someone along who knows what they are doing. I'm fortunate enough to have a very skilled mechanic who works on e30s and drives them to look at all my possible candidates.
Like everybody says DONT RUSH INTO BUYING THE FIRST ONE YOU SEE.Have somebody with mechanical know how check it first before you buy it please. I drop off my daughter in RSM every other weekend to her moms house, probably see you running around there soon.;)
