1998 BMW M3 with LS3 Swap for Sale

Selling my 1998 BMW M3 with LS3 swap and 6 Speed T56 transmission.

    $20,000 or best offer.

Car is located in Irvine California.

Wife just gave me permission to pick up a Z06 Vette and while I love my car, I always wanted a Z06.

Fully story of the car and the build is Here http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum....php?t=1624778 , I am hiding nothing, you can see the full build from stock. I've had the car for about a year. It currently has 119K miles on the chassis and only 1K on a freshly built LS3. I had a LS1 in it first, but had a valvetrain failure so the motor was pulled and I built the new LS3. I have over 30K in the car as it sits right now. On the last dyno session it put down 455whp and 435wtq. It stupid fast, it destroys my buddies E92 M3 with a supercharger that puts down 490whp.

The entire suspension was replaced, every bushing and all balljoints.

Only issues with the car are driver door lock solenoid sometimes doesnt work. It opens and closes with a key just fine. I also lost the remote control, so it only has a manual key. The Alarm is installed and functional just need the fob.

    Mod List

    LS3 shortblock
    LS3 heads
    LS3 ported Intake manifold

Aeromotive stealth fuel pump in custom holder intank
    MGW Shifter

NAHR swap kit which includes - NAHR stainless steel headers, custom CNC motor mounts, CNC Transmission mount, custom driveshaft, custom steering shaft. BMW (E36) 3-Series / New Age Hotrods Online Shop for more details

Custom exhaust with dual cats and Dinan catback.

    Suspension:

    AKG Subframe bushings
    AKG Diff bushings
All new balljoints front and back
    All new remaining bushings
    Bilstein sport struts and shocks
    Tein S-tech springs
    New shock and strut mounts
New Swaybar endlinks and rubber mounts
New DBA drilled slotted front rotors

3.91 ring and pinion using the stock M3 LSD
    BBS CH 18x10 Wheels
Nitto NT05 Tires 265/35/18 square setup

    Misc:

Custom FXR retrofitted HID projectors with 55w morimoto ballasts.
BSW speakers, Alpine headunit with ipod adapter and bluetooth.

Car has working ABS, Airbags and Air conditioning. It has cats, but Smog is buyers responsibility.

Car is super fast, weighs about 3100lbs. Everything works on it. Interior is 9/10 exterior about 9/10 as well, has couple of dings in the paint, but overall very good.

Saw the thread for this car on BFC, absolutely love it.

I'd rather have this than the Vette though! ;)

That thing just squats when you get on the gas. Do Want. Not sure how you are going to like the z06 from this, you might have to get the ZR1 to feel like you upgraded.

                If it's a c6 z06 carbon pack I'm sure he'll manage

But really this is an amazing e36...I wish I could buy it simply for the amazing detail to the swap.

Wow, very very nice. Is there any way for this car to be bar'd, or will it technically always be "illegal" in cali?
                  I like cats.

Actually, according to CA law, smog is sellers responsibility.

When a car is sold, who is responsible for the inspection?

                    Bitchin car though!

Seller is responsible for smog although if car is sold as is it doesnt. Good luck with smoging that car with new laws and camaras....it can be done just $$$$. It's worth it though if I grabbed it.

This is a BMW with a 500hp Chevy V8 swapped in to it.

Any buyer looking for a car like this is not worried about smog.

If you were to drive it on the street in Cali, you would.

Either way, it should pass just fine so long as all the emissions parts went with the swap - and look like that was covered.
