I'm currently talking to a fella in NY about sending a few cars over, so it would be possible to buy one from him.

Carb can be dealt with, especially if it is a 325i model. In the end I plan on doing an s52 swap so I guess it wouldn't matter all that much. I would have to submit to CARB again after the swap. I meant Alpine White not all wheel drive, sorry for the ambiguity.

Pretty sure any E30 that originated in Germany and is a model 1988 or later will have the same exact emissions equipment as the US models (CAT, O2 sensor, etc). CARB shouldn't be that big of a deal, but then again, they don't often make a lot of sense..

What's the time frame? From time of payment to retrieval of the car? Should have mentioned I'm in Florida

Maybe we can save on shipping and bring two over to the same port at the same time?

E30 diesels are awful. I bet they're fairly hard to find in running condition or without cracked heads etc. save yourself the headache..

I would not want the headache of dealing with the transaction. Like I said, if you had a partner / broker in the states facilitating the deal then I may be interested.

I may be interested in a good condition manual 325 touring and I am about 20 minutes form the port of Houston. I can do what I can to help someone else who may consider shipping to Houston.
