Agreed, the price is all wrong for the mileage. But, as we all know, money talks, and someone with cash may be able to bring that down and have an M3 they're not afraid to take out of the garage.

260K miles with an undocumented 'engine rebuild'. Troubling. It's still a complete and unmolested E30 M3.....that alone is tough to find, mileage be damned. I'm sure they will get good money for it.

They drove the shit out of that thing. And agreed, way over priced for the mileage and having no maintenance history.

Mileage is irrelevant, guys. An E30 M3 that's basically rust free and runs starts at $15k these days.

The mileage is definitely high up there. But I do love silver on e30 m3s...I wouldnt say its overpriced.

                  This, right here.

The car must be taken care of to go 260k with an interior that still looks that clean.
Any 80's car that spent its life in the sun will have paint issues, and the s14 won't go 260k without some love given to it.

Also, it's 15k in parts right there easy.

Considering the mileage, this car has actually been taken care of. Look at the drivers side seat bolster, not even torn, there are cars with half the mileage that have torn seats and a cracked dash.

It's a southern car so there's no rust. Even with the non-existent maintenance history, this car will still go for $15-18k all day long. I think they are in the higher end of the ballpark, but you've got to start higher as you will naturally be negotiated downward. I wouldn't be afraid to pick this up as even if you have to rebuild the engine and do some cosmetics, a quality e30 m3 sells in the mid-high 20's these days, which is what you'd put into it. You're not losing money on this car unless you wreck it without proper insurance.

Its been up at 19.5 or 19k for a while, so they're starting to come down. Cash would talk I'd imagine.

Well, supposedly, he's been turning down $17k. I think that he will get 18 if he sticks to his guns.

Well I see some stickers that indicate they or the previous owner was on S14.net and/or the SIG at some point. The car was probably taken care of, just not really modded. If I were local, I'd say it's worth a look so you can inspect it closely. Without records, it's hard to say what you're getting with that many miles. I'd check to see if the engine was actually rebuilt and what was changed on the car. That's a pretty big factor determining the value.

why not post them here? if i was in the market for another car i would be interested in this, the mileage shouldn't scare anyone, more of a reason to drive the hell out of it.
