After a long time of debating it, I have decided to part ways with my 1987 325iC.
This car has 48,716 miles on it and is my pride and joy.
I acquired this car as a graduation gift when I got out of high school in (yes) 1987!!!!
It has had full dealer only service and has had no accidents.
I replaced the top about a year ago.
The car is stock except for lowering springs and Bilstein shocks which I had installed at a local Independent BMW shop recently. I have the receipts and the suspension work including new tie rods, bushings and control arms ran $4100.00. I only had this done at an independent shop as the dealer would not do it as I wanted some non-OE parts installed. I then had the same shop install the shorter bumpers, Euro headlights and taillights at a cost of $3940.00.
Included with the car will be the Full Service History and all receipts.
On top of the $34,000 purchase price (original sticker included), I have invested over $21,000 on this car in maintenance and upgrades.
I will include with the car my coveted BMW CCA grille badge as well.
If the buyer pays the asking price, I will also include my collection of Roundel magazines from 1987 to the present.
The car was driven summers only and was garaged. During College and law school I washed the car myself at least once a week and had it zymoled by my father's gardener, Pedro, who runs a detailing business on the weekends. Since I got out of school, Pedro's nephew Luis has washed the car for me weekly as well. I insist he only use the full line of Griot's products I purchase for this prupose.
I can safely tell you without hesitation that you will not find a cleaner more tastefully modified e30 Cabrio in the US without months and months of searching.
For those who are SERIOUSLY interested, (no tire kickers) I will consider requests for the VIN and other details upon recipt of your private message outlining your intent for the car, number of BMWs you have owned and proof that you will be a responsible steward for this fine vehicle.
Given that I have over $50,000 into this rare specimen, my asking price is dear. But I think it is reasonable.
$18,700 ovno.
