Tru, you could put the euroweaves from the touring on it, although, I did want those actually.

x3, I think 13K is a fair asking price for such a perfect car!!

13k is reasonable to ask, hard to get. I'd say 10-11k is what you can reasonably expect to get. That said I say if you can find a way keep her.

                I'd say yes.

I'd say sell it. I've had a few low mileage, clean cars. As much as I loved them, I don't feel like I got to fully enjoy DRIVING them because I was too scared to 1. put miles on them and 2. park next to an 80 year old lady in a beat up '81 toyota corolla, or anyone for that matter.

It's a clean car but it's just a car, and and an investment. I'm absolutely new to E30s and no expert but I'm speaking about all cars in general. This is just my 2 cents so take it with a grain of sand (or salt?). I can never remember.

Levent, Vermonts cool, I'll roll up that way to visit.

You told me you were most likely gonna part with her, when I told you I thought she was a keeper when I was down your way.

She's truly a kick ass clean cab and worth every penny of 15. Helga has 3 times the miles and a salvage title and I couldnt let her go for 12 (thats why I'm keeping her :) ).

Wait, I haven't been on her for a bit, so a great chance to whore:

Good luck with the sale and I look forward to the touring project, I'm still planning my next one, leaning towards E36 M cabrio, but we'll see.

                      Peace

It's tough to say dude. There's always people that will pay massive amounts of money for the right car, but you need to be patient. Might take a year to find a buyer at anything higher than that. Above $10k you are well into E30 M3 territory, and the people willing to spend the money in an e30 would much rather have that.

I think $9500 is a good asking price if you need to get it sold. I'm sure it's as great of a car as it shows on this thread, and possibly worth much more... but the more you invest in it, the harder it is to see the returns (as you similarly mentioned).

On the fence still but leaving towards the keep it side... I agree, 10k would be a solid price. But I dont need to sell and down the road it will be difficult to replace. In my mind 15k is the mark. If I get it, I'll sell if not its going into storage for the winter.

Im getting ready for a 2k mile trip in her. I bought a forsale sign to post on the window... Maybe Ill find someone along the way.

                            Thanks for all the feedback/input.
