    4x NEW Genuine E34 Mid Bass Drivers Woofers 5.25" - 65138370935

    Hey R3V-

Bought these as an attempt to copy the old German Audio Specialities "Great stereo under $500" kit, but am going to go a different route. These speakers have great bass response for being a 5.25" speaker. Fits in all four corners. You'll need crossovers to work with the factory tweeters. Great speakers for the money.

$210 shipped for the set of four.

Folks always talk about the magical E34 drivers being better than E30.. They’re great component drivers for sure, but you have to use them with aftermarket passive crossover modules and re-wire - the E30 drivers have the crossovers built in to them. There’s some benefits to using different crossovers, but they need to be matched to the drivers you’re using.
    I BUY/SELL REFURBISHED CM5907s & CM5908s

    HOWTOs:
    DB vert plastic bumpers
    OEM Keys
    MTech1 docs

    88 ix Lach/Card
    91 ic Calypso 3.1
    86 Cosmo 2.7

    OEM+ or bust!

reelizmpro: I will always be an e30 guy.. I still do all of my own labor
TrentW: There's just something so right about a well-built M20 in an E30
e30m3s54turbo: I save my money for tuner parts.

Yep, the problem that I ran into was that most e30 premies were blown. So I tried to go e34 mids and custom crossovers but couldn’t get it dialed so I just paid up for mint premium sound

Thankfully these e34 speakers are long gone

well said Bobby. the drivers and crossovers are matched.

just in case someone else searches and finds this thread,
Folks should also note there are TWO E34 mid-bass / midrange driver part numbers in RealOEM

        (front kick panel) 65-13-8-370-935
(rear package tray) 65-13-8-370-936 these appear to have smaller magnets and different terminals than the 935.
There's also 5 additional speakers beyond the 4 5.25" drivers in an E34 with the HI-FI/premium sound setup... phew.

Here are the 936 rear speakers

Here are pics of the E30 drivers with crossovers, 65-13-1-386-546. They're a lot more expensive.
