    E30 Temperature Warning Light - E30 Innovative Goods

    Hi,

    I present to you an innovative module that measures the temperature of your engine's cooling fluid. With it, you can monitor the temperature of your engine and prevent it from overheating. If the temperature of the cooling fluid exceeds a certain limit, the warning light will automatically turn on, alerting you to the high temperature. This can prevent potential damage to the engine and ensure that your vehicle is always safe and ready to drive. The module is easy to install (P&P, no soldering needed) and can be used for all types of engines. By using this module, you will definitely ensure the long lifespan of your engine. During installation you can set the temperature threshold for the light to alert you.

    In the package you get:
    * module
    * wire with LED and connector
    * sticker

    Final assembly looks like this:

    This is awesome!

    If I didn't have my standalone set up to do the same thing, I would definitely buy one!

          I have the OP's one-touch window control units in my street E30, and they work great! Seriously thinking about getting their wiper control unit as well.

          Can you provide additional details, such as:

          1) Is the limit temp programmable? If yes, how? If not, what is it pre-set to?
          2) Is it relying on the factory coolant temp sensor?
          3) How does the 'display' physically go/mount in the car?

          In my track E30, I have digital programmable gauges for coolant temp, oil temp, and oil pressure, that throw the warning light when limit is exceeded. Much better than analog gauges that you have to keep an eye on.

            Glad to hear that.

            1) the limit is programmable. Using a module you simulate the desired temperature limit on the temperature gauge first, and then proceed to set the limit in the following step.
            2) it is relying on factory coolant temp sensor
            3) no display, an unused warning light position is occupied by a high-power LED.

                I am interested. Any way to do flashing or a buzzer if it gets to a critical high level?

                  Yes, the module has a jumper that allows the user to choose between flashing or "solid on".
