Econo gauge - by E30 Innovative Goods

    Hi folks,

There seems to be some interest in Econo gauges, so we decided to try to make it happen.
    We made some research...
    Made a few tests PCBs...

This is our latest one, already cut to fit in its place :

    It looks good so far.

    Any thoughts on this?

We can see it - Cool!

My only question, why do you use such weak little (8mill) traces on everything? I noticed that on some of your other work. It shows signs of a really bad engineering, and new to electronics. Classic mistake. EDIT: You said you made changes, but seem your products are failing often.

Also, you want a booster circuit, the stock gauge is really slow to change running at 12 volts - good for a MPG gauge, but not for anything else that need fast deflection to show changes.

The majority of the traces carry really weak signals so this trace width is more than enough for this. Where it is needed wider traces are used.

              Thanks for the input.
Of course we made some modifications. The setup we have now seems fast enough to handle fast changing signals. Still have to make some tests.

It is designed to replace the small stock analog gauge under the RPM gauge. Depending on your choice and connection it will be able to show you one value; for example boost, oil pressure or temp... maybe some other useful thing

It does replace the stock gauge but displays other values. Looks like boost is the most sought after, but pressure or temp is also an option...
