I believe that the e34 and e30 high beams are identical, but I know for a fact that the low beams are different, they have different mounting locations
Currently in Germany and may be able to grab a few parts if anyone is interested

All the E34 lights have a different fitment to the E30, you will have to "Butcher" them to fit, I have a few sets here, and have looked into this.Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

Wow
Dude, you're VERY right. I guess I was over tired, but the differences are pretty obvious. Also: the fogs ARE NOT the same, as many people previously thought on this forum and another.GregComment

I forgot what I typed before but most definitely euro sidemarkers and the hcs washer rings. I would think those are common out there. I'm also interested in french lights mtech 1 spoiler wideangle side view mirrors M47 crank for M42 stroker. I believe these were on 5 series deisel but ill have to do some research.Comment

I'll add that stuff to my list of things I'm searcing for (I'm going to start calling junkyards to ask what they have... this weekend kinda flew by too quickly because of the time I spent getting to and from yards that didn't have worth-while parts)
I really really don't want to pull a crank though. I have no real tools here, just borrowed screw drivers and sockets... no way to properly store the crank so it doesn't rust... (and as the Germans say) blah-blah-blah.
If you find one on ebay or something and want to ship it through me that's ok, but going to a yard to search for a crank is just more than I want to do. Sorry man.GregComment

Hes a friend of mine, and while I know he's serious, I know he doesn't expect it to happen. To be honest I could do it, but man oh man would it be a PIA. ... like I would charge an outrageous amount to do that. Probably $200 on top of the costs. - its for a friend of his that I don't know, if it were a friend that I knew I may be more inclined.
I feel like that makes me a jerk...GregComment

you are a jerk
remember that time you asked me to ask my friend for a favor for a friend of a friend who i met but barely know
I guess the chance of my buddy losing a job and being fined 10's of thousands of dollars is no big deal. But i suppose risk and inconvenience are two separate things. I think i'll charge a commission next time too :p
