Greg, i know its going to be hard, but if you can find an MZ3 rear trailing arm set (just the trailing arms and drum hardware) i've been dying to have a balanced brake setup with the e36m3 fronts.

thats truly the last thing i think i need for the car. All other plans for boost and mods have been scrapped otherwise. I wont have time or money to tinker with this stuff till after graduation...or grad school

Any M-Tech 2 wheels found and sourced? You find one, I'll buy it. Also, euro late plastic bumper trim and euro grills would be awesome!

No Mtech stuff at all found yet, there's already a person that called 'dibs'...

I'm currently about to get on a train to head home, once I do I'm going to try and work on a list of who wants the more frequent stuff so that way this stays in order. IE: smilies, grills, euroweaves

I'm trying to nail down a a junkyard to go to tomorow as well, and will try and do some better shipping cost estimates next week.

Why does everybody think that he will be finding all these rare m tech and mhw parts at a junkyard?

"oh if you find a mint bodykit from an alpina e30, I got dibs"

Just went to my second yard of the weekend. Neither if which had a single e30, but one guy had some lights. I grabbed a set of e34 smilies, a full driverside e30 smilie setup and an extra e30 smilie light, but it's the drivers side. Going to try and go to another yard before I leave the town I'm in (Salzgitter, if anyone is interested) and I'll take photos when I get home.

Okay guys, I went to thee junkyards this weekend and didn't have as much luck as I had hoped, but I had some.

I now have a complete e34 euro smilie set, and the 1.5 e30 set. I will be going back to that junkyard in Hamburg next weekend I think and will be able to make at least one complete e30 setup as well.

Interesting fact: the e34 smilies are made by Hella, while the e30 setup is Bosh. The lights are almost identical, but the bracket that CONNECTS TO THE CAR is what is different. I need to get a set of pliers to be sure, but i'm 99.9999999% sure that the e34 lights WILL fit into an e30 bracket, thus making it way way easier to make sets for e30s. THERE IS A DIFFERENCE, however, with the city lights. the body for the e34 is slightly longer, and due to a space constraint issue if an e34 light were used in an e30 bracket, and e30 city light would be required, and they have a slightly shorter neck.

I think what I'm going to do to test this out and see how the lights look is make a Frankenstein setup and mail them home to a buddy in RI, who will then install them and take photos... after that we'll be in business.

Here are some photos of what I have so far. Also: the e30 light seems to be adjustable... anyone have any input on this?

                                e34 bracket...

                                e30 bracket...

I'm considering going back for these seats. It would be a full set, but the driver's side bolster is torn. Any interest? Anyone know what they're worth? i feel like it'll be a PIA to pull the fabric off (I'm not mailing the whole seats)... and want to be sure its worth doing before I take a two day trip to go get them.
