I have not even ordered the tubing and bent up the bases. As I stated before these will be perfect fit braces with no clearance issues.

In a month or so I will show one installed in my M50 swap and the m20 vert stroker.
I've bought the sparco bar 3 times, and never paid more than $110 including tax and shipping. This was 10 years ago though, so a $20 price increase isn't too bad. I'll call the place i've ordered before on Monday to inqure about current prices.

Sparco bar fits fine with 24v swaps, again why make an exact copy of something that already works and is cheap?

Sounds like this guy is no longer the dorifto king, but an e30 parts producer! Bars, mufflers, I'm liking it

If you design it nice I would be interested in 2 without the holes drilled. I drilled the shock towers on 2 of my cars for E36 strut mounts, so no off the shelf bar will work for me, but if I could drill the holes myself where I need them that would work. I've already hacked up and modded an e36 ebay bar, but I wouldn't mind a slightly prettier solution.

                Think mason and hartge
Twin bar with center mounted plate. The BMP mason bar is NLA and try and find a Hartge at my ball park. This is not a copy, I have my own plans. So in the end you don't have to buy one.

Like der affe, my Father and a handful of friends said; if people don't want to pay a bit more for something that is made in the US and custom made that is better than the other products offered. Then ebay has what they are looking for to dress up their engine bay.

I am a perfectionist, so the final product will be spot on. I am putting on a roof this week, so after that I will order a batch of tubing and get the program made for the base plates.

Update I have no idea what the market is for my rear brace. But I am working out the details to get the shock mounting brackets cut out in batches.

                            Pictures:

Three point mounting, you HAVE to drill through the body to mount this brace.

                            IMG_1760 by E30 F34R, on Flickr

My next ones are not going to have the center plate. I can put one on for extra charge of plate/grinding. I put it there for a place to bomb it with larger stickers.

Shock top mounting and tower wall mounting points.

                            IMG_1764 by E30 F34R, on Flickr

Floor mounting point, gets a plate bolted from the bottom up through the floor. This is to keep it from ripping through(spread pressure)

                            IMG_1763 by E30 F34R, on Flickr

Installed(free floating), I have the floor mounted right now. Figuring tower mounts out, then I can install the shocks. But all holes line up PERFECT.

                            IMG_1778 by E30 F34R, on Flickr

I have NOOOO idea when I can start making these for sale to the forum. As most know I am building a car and most of my money is gone lol(plus got screwed from a job) So I am going to take templates in and see what it will cost to get a batch of 30 made(plates).

SO what I want to hear is:

Tubing style, sq or round tubing?

And this one IS NOT FOR SALE. I don't care if you offer me 500 ;)

Round is stronger and better looking. If you want to show off your fabrication skill its not a good idea to grind them so much and cover them in paint. I'm not saying your welds are bad but from what you show its easy to assume the worst.

I agree round tubing looks better and a bit stronger. Thing is I had a pile of square so I did something with it. The spots that are ground down was not because of the welds, I wanted to make a smooth look to each intersection.

This is the pattern I am going with for round tubing, people just wanted an update. When I get the money to buy round tubing I will post pictures of those. I just wanted to give an idea of what they will look like that is all.

Also I don't know how to weld, my father is teaching me. He did all the welds on this for me. He has a pinched nerve that makes his hands shake. I know you did not know that, but know you do. He has been doing it for 30 years, I am sure the welds are just fine.

Edit: I have no idea when I can get a batch of these made. I got totally fucked for three weeks of pay. I will make these when I can get it off the ground.
