FS: Rebuilt M20 885 Cylinder Heads (and more) by BimmerHeads

I have a leaking head gasket on my 89 iX -

I am wondering what gains I would see with swapping this for the OEM head.

Do you know if the iX has this 885 head?

And, can one of the stroker (2.7) engines be made to work with the iX oil pan, etc?

885 head yes. block from eta, no, block/oil pump is different. check out the iX section on e30 tech for more on that.

Thank YOU sir. Make sure you/Ryan check valve to piston clearance with the cam just to be safe.

I would absolutely recommend the 274 camshaft for a stock or mostly stock engine.

For intake/chip you're going to get the most power by doing a MAF conversion.
