    Hey Greg,

    what about if "resistor strip" has many wear , and in one point (2,3 section from begining) erased at all.

    can be restored this strip ?

      Depends how bad it is. Even with heavy wear, we can restore it still. However, sometimes people mess with the strip causing more damage. I've even see many cases where people take sandpaper to the strip, which makes no sense to me.

        @Depends how bad it is.@

        2-3 section has no contact. when I check with multimetr = 0 Om

        so if I corect understand - there is no guarantee that will be restored 100%? :(

          0 ohms means there is contact, I'm afraid you are not familiar with how to use a millimeter.

          Without any pictures, I cannot help you. Send me some close ups of the strip to the email I specified and I will have a better idea.

                      Hello. 1985 M30b25 euro import. I did the unthinkable and let the spring unwind! I wound it back and the car starts but idles weird and hesitates. So I wonder will you be able to wind the spring back to correct or is it a loss and I need a new one?
                      1991 e30 328i M52 swapped: Gone

                        Once the spring is released of tension after all the decades, it could affect the spring rate throughout the range. You can send it to us for evaluation.

                              Do you have rebuilt m30 AFM's for sale? I'm looking for a good newer solid one for an upgrade to my current m20 stock setup. I could send in my m20 AFM as well.
