Do you have the newer style 4-point injectors for a M40B18 engine in a 1991 318i? Based on what I see for the part numbers, it's the same injectors used in E30s (M10, M40) and E36s (M40, M43).

Sorry, i really need a part number. I know i have a bunch from the 4 cylinder engines, but only you can confirm what part number you have there

I was skeptical regarding the green top injectors in my stock e30/m20; having read about rough idling and inaccurate on-board computers & MPG gauges etc. The engine ran rough for about the first 45 seconds after installation and then smoothed out a good bit. After a spirited 15 mile drive they were purring very nicely. The on-board computer and MPG gauge work fine, except they seem to indicate I'm getting slightly better gas mileage. I am very pleased and just wanted to give MEPEH a good review. They shipped very fast too!

Thanks for the feedback. The initial rough idle is due to the left overs of degreaser in the injector
I use a degreaser that is safe for the environment and I'm pretty sure it's non-flammable :)

The other thing to consider is that the ECU adapts to the old injectors and compensates with less/more air. This is why new injectors will feel odd the first runs.

Better mpg is something i'm trying not to be too loud about.. it's better to have some extra surprises :)

Well, I didn't snap any terrific pics with a fancy camera, but I must report that MEPEH is all that and a bag of chips. As stated by others, the customer service and professionalism is 2nd to none.

I was finally able to put my car back together with the freshly refurb'd M50 injectors in my M20 (only a Dinan chip, exhaust, and refurb'd MAS). After the expected rough idle start, the initial drive immediately made it clear that my throttle was more responsive and smoother in accelerating. I can't state that there is any sort of actual hp increase, but I can state that I get more power with less throttle input than I was getting before. I need more miles to speak to any mpg gains, but I expect that to be the case as the better efficiency is very clear.

If you want to support quality (person & product), this is where you spend your money.
