SOLD - Vert Cardinal Red Sport Seats UPDATED 11-27-12

    SOLD

    ***UPDATE***
I will sell just the leathers off these seats for those that have PMed me about them. Shipping on the leathers will be MUCH lower than the complete seats of course.

So I traded a friend some parts for a set of Cardinal Red front sport seats. He's going to put in E36 seats and these are in really good shape and so I decided to take it off his hands. My problem is I don't much care for the color and want to go with Black and Cinnamon interior on my Sedan. My buddy is planning on recovering the rear seats if I don't want them but I figured I would see if there is any interest on here for the whole set and if not I'll probably have these redone in the color combo I'm wanting. I have leaned from a fellow forum member that the top of the rear seat has been re-upholstered. I also plan on putting these in my sedan and I know what some of you are going to say...vert seats only fit verts and if I want a set like that just get M3 rears. I have a lady (my mother who owns an upholstery shop) who will re-upholter these for real cheap and I'll probably just have to buy the fabric so all I have to do is make the vert seat fit the opening for my sedan. I also have a spare/parts sedan that 'll be using the rear center seat belts nut that is welded to the body underneath the bottom of the seat.

If anyone is interested in these shoot me a PM. If I don't get much interest in these they are going under the knife come the 1st of the year.

    SOLD

It would be kind of sad to hack those up to fit a sedan when you can get a good rear seat core for nothing and re do it I have 2 sitting here). If you do decide to redo them though, someone will buy the skins and shipping cost wont be a problem

The top of the back seat has been re-upholstered by the previous owner. You can see in the picture that the color or the top half doesn't quite match the bottom half.

I usually don't hack any of my projects up. When I do something I do it right or I don't do it at all but I understand what you are saying I think.

I've already been messaged by 3 people wanting the seat skins if I don't end up selling the set.

Not trying to thread-crap, but what does that mean? They are all horizontal stitching?

He means that the rear seats have twice the amount of horizontal stitches as there should be. Someone reupholstered the entire rear seat, however, they did not use the stock stitching pattern. Compare the fronts to the back, you'll notice that there is twice as much space in between the lines of stitching in the front when compared to the back.

Can you clarify as to whether the rear will fit a vert?

If so, please message me a price shipped to 13669 NY..very interested, want a smooth and easy transaction :)

I have a silver vert, 95% restored and I was budgeting getting my seats recovered... Untill this came along...
