just thought I would add some notes to help with installs for customers.

in order for the front flares to sit 100% flush you need to cut out at least 90% of the original flare so that it does not make contact with the mounting points on my flares.

You will notice when you do test fitting that the front requires twisting to fit but after you cut out the OEM flare it will fit flush.

also DO NOT drill a hole too big other wise you risk the screws popping threw.

DO NOT over tighten any screws, do even tightening on all screws do not tighten one all the way when others are still loose, get them all to lets say 25% tight then get them all to 50%-75% and then 100%.

I test fit ALL flares before I ship them but things like the early model chrome strip door trim and even bumper alignment may create the need to file edges.

I am NOT responsible for the modifications you make to your car. I've installed these flares first try with no mistakes and with great fitment If you take your time and are capable of sanding or filling you will also get a great fit.

If your looking for flares that will have OEM prefect fitment right out of the box I would suggest you make your own because I have seen fitment on my flares and other companies flares and non are OEM like without a little bit of body work.

wooooaaahhhh count me in as well good sir- these look a bit tougher than the dtm set. If I can squeeze in some 245/255 that would be epic.

245 fit very easy at like offset zero on a 8" wheel, 9" wheels with a 255 width will fit at offset 12-10 pretty comfortably as well..

Any updates on the early model extra wide? I keep forgetting where this thread is.

Well maybe a regular early set would work... its for an ix, and I want to run a square setup, so im worried about fitment of a 17x9 or 10 up front.

a 17x9 will fit square VERY easy at ET 12 up front, but a 17x10 will not fit up front with any decent sized tire.

Ultra wides may not be made.

I wish I could afford these to get rid of the shitty looking 2002 style flares I put on. They look much better and likley offer up more tire space.

so I may of run into an issue with my fiberglass guy,he seems to of disappeared with my money. So I'm currently shopping around for a new guy to do all the mold work, I'll see how things play out.
