Sounds good to me, I also have 17 lbs and a chip in my car! Any idea on how soon you might be doing the dyno?

The 274 cam is great because it provides more top end power without killing much of the low end torque. We've personally only used it in our 2.7L builds (which of course have more torque than the 2.5L) but we absolutely love it. Whenever we actually get the time we'll be doing a before/after dyno on a 2.5L E30 with one of our heads running the 274 camshaft.

      Thanks!
What kind of HP/ torq numbers are you getting with the 2.7L build and a cam?
      im interested in one.

          Our 2.7i dyno'd at 170whp and 160wtq.

This was a Mustang dyno and the car is running better since then thanks to a new crank sensor and new plug wires. This is with the 274 cam.

I have been running the 274 cam in my turbo M20 since April of 2011.

We've sold them to others with boosted engines as well. Kamotors on this forum is running one of our dual pattern cams with our port/polish cylinder head.

Of installing one, what other things should be done at the same time to do the job "right" and avoid having to do things twice?

Well since you'd want to pull the head to install I'd recommend resurfacing it at a bare minimum. If you don't know if the head has ever been rebuilt I'd highly recommend a valve grind and new valve seals. Otherwise get yourself a head gasket set and a head bolt set and you're good.

Any word on getting these bad boys on a dyno? I think it would help you sell a lot more of them ;)

We're still going to be doing before/after dyno numbers with one of our heads on to an otherwise stock 2.5L M20 engine. The head we'll be installing will be running our 274 cam. I know this doesn't exactly show before/after numbers for the cam alone but it's the best we can do.

Buyers can expect us to have more cams available next month.

Good deal. I am quite interested in snagging one depending on the timing of this and my engine refresh after this race season.
