A salvage yard would sell you the part cut the way you want it. Only problem I see is that it may ruin the quarters. It's best to cut just past the factory seams and take the old part off the car at the factory seams. You can get a little drill bit thingie that's made for drilling through spot welds. Reweld the panel at the factory seam. It can be an undetectable repair. A new part retails for $220. Of course if it's a track rat never mind.

i will check the hood today. thanks for reminding me. i have a grey back leather sport seat leather with side panles. the seat has some scuffing and some cracks but its still in decent cond. and needs recconditioned. anyone interested?
