As I told one other person that asked the Smiley is a headlight I tested the LED and HID in because I have good access to it. The way the bowl, spacer to the bowl and projector is designed it is for a halogen bulb. The HID bulb fits in very similar so while you do get a hot spot it works well.

The LED arrays sit further back so some output is lost. It loses out just slightly to the HID. It's still good but I am always front.

In the High Beam the LED destroys Halogen and HID. Can see photo for that :)

Happy to do a combo of HID/LED or LED. Let me know!

Such as? Off the top of my head they are 1/10-1/30th of a second hand held with an EOS M(Or maybe used the 5D MKII). They are extremely bright producing 3200-3600 Lumens which is even or slightly more than an HID Kit.

09 X5 you could drive with the fogs only if it wouldn't attract attention. When you hit the fogs with the low beams on you immediately notice they have been turned on and are brighter.

It fits like an H1 Bulb. Much like putting HIDs in you can either run with no rear cover or drill the cover. That is exactly what I have in mine.

Do you have led bulbs for us ellipsoid headlights? I realize they might lose out slightly to hid but do you even make a plug and play kit for us? Splicing required?

9006 is a direct plug and play. Twist in bulb. Plug it in. Mount LED Driver.

Agreed. Couple different versions and quality level is a problem. Plus the way the E30 is setup can't toss in just any version.
