I highly recommend using slightly longer screws when installing. Those ashtray screws are pretty darn short.

Really like this holder so far, but haven't attempted a large coffee travel mug yet. Will you be offering the rubber foot piece to those of us who already purchased? Is it something I could buy at my local hardware store?

The new batch will have a welded foot with rubber tip for the first batch I am working on something that I will ship to you guys on my dime to get more support on the cup holders be patient with me should have the foot done in two weeks and I will ship to each of the buyers. I will also include some longer screws (they will be zinc plated screws as well) sorry for the inconvenience this was the first batch I had made but will work out the little things.

Keep me posted on the updates, I'll be interested to see what you come up with. FWIW things seem fine with the stock screws but longer would be better I suppose. I'll take 'em if you're offering.

As for interference, I haven't noticed any, but then I don't drive around in fifth with my hand on the shifter. YMMV, but I've had no problem with access to the shifter and fifth gear, window switch, radio, etc.

In the meantime I have to post up some pics of mine. I found a nice insulated cup at Starbucks that fits v1.0 perfectly. It's plastic so it won't scratch the powder coat and fits snug but not too snug. Looks freaking lovely too :)
