You have just made what I've been hoping someone would make for years. Plug and Play and doesn't take up much space. Very nice.

Agreed. These little features really add to the overall enjoyment of the car, and I really appreciate that they're invisible and reversible.

Is this the final form? I think you should really encase the unit and brace the female terminals.

A case could be an option. But the female terminals need to be pushed through the switch hole to ease the installation. Also a special casing would add quite a bit to the cost. Between this and the niceness of a casing we decided for more practical and cheaper option.

I'd appreciate whatever you can do to ruggedize the device; I'll modify it further myself if need be.

Only available space could be an issue. We haven't tested it yet.

I'm certain these will work on the E28: there is plenty of space around the window switches and they're the same part number. My E28 isn't going to get any expensive goodies like these, though, as I'm keeping my budget for that car as tight as possible. :p

We haven't tested it yet with the sunroof. So I can not say if it works or not.

Well, the part number of the switch is identical and the limiter is the same as well, so I would be surprised if it didn't work.

Do these work with the illuminated switches?
