    Glad you got the switches.

With no hurry - is there a reasonable chance I can get the switches I sent you to operate the four windows, and the fifth larger base window switch to do all four?

I don't see why not. However, it's probably going to be at least a month or so until we have a working prototype that uses the dual stage switches.

      thanks again!

As far as I know, only the large white based, and large blue based switches are single stage switches. The rest are all 2-stage.

          I'm interested.

Now for thermal sensor that "cracks" the windows? You mean open the windows when it reaches 100 F inside the cabin right? Not literally crack the windows.

I'm down as long as the switches are provided as well.

It would lower them a tiny bit. But as of now, we're scrapping that because of a lack of constant power to the window circuit. Perhaps in the future.

Unless I Happen To Come Along A Large Surplus Of The Switches, And You're Willing To Pay ~$30 Extra For A Pair Of Them, We will Not Be Providing The E36 Switches With Any Of The Modules.

if you don't provide the switches would you be able to provide the correct p/n to pick up so we don't get the switches mixed up since I've read about single click and double click switches and I have no idea which ones are which and what is needed. But in the end I'm sure you have all necessary instructions provided

There will be VERY detailed instructions given with the modules. As of now, we're going to try and solder e36 harnesses into the chips so that you will just be able to plug them in.

Spectacular. I'd wait a year if it meant having one button operate all four windows one touch up or down ;)

this is for the 2-stage switches rite? i am not changing my interest to a module for e36 2 stage switch.

i just came across a set of 2 stage yellow base switches, they are COMPLETELY different than the 1 stage e36 switches...

Right now we're making a chip for the one-stage switches. It will work with the one-stage e36 switches and the e30 switches (because they're both basically the same). We got the chips a few days ago, now we're just deciding which project board to buy to program them.

The two-stage ones are a bit more complicated, however, we're going to build one after the one-stage ones are completed.

Take power from the cig lighter. Just a thought. Itd be easy enough. Its in the general area and easy to get to.

yeah i think thats what i mentioned. The power wire for it it pretty damn big. But i think that feature is stupid anyways. If your going to leave your car in the hot sun. just open the windows a little.
