Looking for an instrument cluster to replace my current one

what exactly are you looking to do or fix? I have a buddy in queens with several various misc cluster bits, circuit boards, SI board, gauges etc. I can contact him and we can put together one that works. Are you looking to reuse any of your gauges?

I want to replace the entire unit. I want the factory look. I just put this one up for sale in my for sale thread. I even look into trading for a stock one. If this is VDO, do I need to replace it with a VDO or could I use MotoMeter. I didn't take it out yet so I don't know if it is VDO or motometer. I won't know for a couple days. I'm going to keep the coding plug since this is in my '88iX.

you can put either vdo or motormeter in there. plugs are the same. actually I think you can even mix and match brands if you're piecing things together.

I can sell you just the housing if you want. Easy swap and you can keep all the insides/gauges.

I know the green line and rings are removable, but isn't the carbon overlay removable too? Cause it is just a stock unit under all of that.
